If I still had my 4 I would certainly give these a try. I had the original Vegan pads on my X and they were so comfortable with no loss of SQ. I had the Dekoni Elite Hybrids on my 4 for a couple of years before I sold it. Much more comfortable than the stock pads.

When I owned the U12t I used the SR35. It had plenty of power to make the U12t sound really good. It is also a Roon endpoint which was important to me. The price for an A&K is also very friendly. I moved away from the U12t to try other iems but now am coming back. I have an A12t on order...

I do not believe so. One reason I went to Roon was to use EQ without a computer and the attendant noise that comes with using a computer. Of course I use an Intel NUC to run the core but I think that is all different than running a MAC or PC USB(or whatever) directly into the dCS dac.

I use the Audeze preset as a convolution filter plus a 3 band PEQ on my LCD-5.

I never EQ’d my LCD-4 in the 5years I owned it. During a Roon free trial I tried the Audeze preset but soon went back as I felt it was not an improvement.
