I am new to tube amps. I have been on the solid state amp side and want to change up the sound. I got the Nobsound 6P1 amp to play around with tubes and running down different sounds with my ATH-AWKT headphones. I am looking to update the stock tubes but need some help to track down at least two sets of the tubes that people think would sound good. Thanks

Stock tubes are
5U4C * 1 + 6H8C * 2 + 6P1 * 4

It's insane that I'm the first person to reply on your thread, hopefully you will still welcome me 4 years later, Haha. This amp came up on my eBay query for an ultra budget tube headphone amp and I'm considering it. A few things.

Do you still have yours or have you moved on to anything else?

Does it have any digital circuits or PCB boards inside? I have a preference for point to point wiring fully analog design.

Can you confirm if 6N1neb tubes are interchangeable with the others? I've read the ECC85 are, and the Tungsram sounds good
