Professionally built by the Headamp Builder. This sports a beautiful zebra wood base, black top plate and brass accents. Nice looking volume knob for extra horsepower. Will also include right angle RCA adapters and a right angle power cord.
Total put into the build without tubes approx $1500. Add the tubes and looking around $1700.

It’s basically has all upgrades to do on the amp. These include:
Speedball
Mundorf EVO Oil Caps
Choke C7X
Cree Diodes
Blue Alps Pot
Will come with a collection of tubes. However, I don’t have a tester or the time to try them all one by one. I do try to keep my stuff as safe as possible in their box in a padded case.

These tubes include:
- Tung Sol Chatham 2339 5998 domino plate
- RCA 6AS7 x 2
One is brand new NOS. Just ordered it like last week. The other has light usage.
- GE stock think 6080
- PSVANE 12AU7 from Viva Tubes
- Mullard RTC 12AU7
Everything will be super well packed. Local pickup/meetup highly preferred.

Cardas quad eutectic solder is used for all my kits. This solder is top of the line and contains silver for higher conductivity. This type of solder is built to last
A great amount of detail was put into this Bottlehead Crack headphone amplifier. The chassis and transformer top were painted with paint. The wooden base was sanded and stained. It was then finished by hand with special oil with increasing grits of sandpaper between coats to get an ultra-smooth finish.
The wiring for this amp was done neatly to provide a pleasing appearance. Each terminal was carefully inspected to ensure that all joints were properly soldered. The resistances and voltages were then tested and passed all tests. Finally, I gave it a thorough listening test through my headphones to ensure it was in perfect working condition.
The Bottlehead Crack is an exceptional headphone amp that pairs well with high impedance headphones such as the Sennheiser HD 650's and the HD 800's, ZMF and Beyerdynamics headphones. The music really shines with live or acoustic music.
