The tuning of the 325i Gold is indeed quite bright and aggressive -- but to my ears, the 325x Gold Edition are not tuned like that. Granted, I do not have the normal 325x to compare, but the 325i Gold and 325x Gold do sound different to my ears.

Those work for most Audeze LCD headphones (all of the LCD line except LCD-1) and the MM-500, but not for the LCD-1 or MM-100. LCD-1 does not use mini-XLR but weirdly-wired 3.5mm at the cups.

A comfortable snug to me -- ear pads are generously sized -- clamp keeps them from sliding around my head without squeezing too hard.
