Great review! Concerning input and outputs: I am happy they are on the same side. Otherwise it would not be portable. I wouldn’t be able to put it in my pocket together with my iPhone. On the desk, well, maybe, but as CMA18P is a „portable“ device, as says its name, I think they did the right design choice here.

Yes, it's an issue for me while using it with my desktop PC, but not with phones or when in BT mode (more of a personal gripe than a con really). I use it mostly for BT, lol, because the implementation is so good.

I'm using it with an iPhone, so all the connections on the same side are perfect. The dimension is great, too, because it fits perfectly on the back of the cell. Hopefully, future versions can be thinner. Anyway, I have no complaints at all.

I have owned three Questyle daps and dacs and I wondered if this was worth it to pay $700 for this. But your comparisons made me think that if it achieves higher than those highly respected dac-amps then it may be worth it.

It is very fairly priced I think, given the boatloads of features and sound quality to back it up.

How can you compare it with Mojo 2 without mentioning its EQ prowess? No dac amp able to perform EQ flawlessly like Mojo 2 at under 1000 usd. Plus Mojo 2 right now is cheaper at 450 usd.
