Lake People G111 - Headphone Amp

How does it sound T1 with g111? thanks

Sharing this here too. New Lake People G118 (uses G111 amp). It's marketed more towards studio use. Very bottom one.

Got a unit, I'll leave some notes.

I see this unit draws 5W (4.8w ~ 4.9W) from wall. This was constant regardless the gain setting, source volume and pot position.

The manual I recieved (version April 2022) incorrectly reversed the + and - side of the pre gain. However, the online manual (August 2023) is correct.

On my unit I can hear minor hiss if I turn on the +12db the right channel. Not a ground issue, I checked disconnectioning the source using the both ground lift jumper position. Not really a problem for me since I can't really listen louder than 2 o'clock using a 2vrms source with the default dip switches.

The white line on the vol pot doesn't exactly line up with the labled dots and line on the face plate, but it is at least lined up on left side of the width of the line. Only slightly peeved trying to put in on 12 o'clock lol. Otherwise, I really like the simple design of the amp.

Manual says "The internal 0,25 AT fuse is soldered in place on the PCB." but externally it says "FUSE INSIDE 1 AT" on the enclosure. I am not sure which one it actually is.

I don't think the two jacks really sound the exactly same, let me know if other's are hearing minor differences.

In terms of SQ, I am using a mojo 2, and I recently had the Maxiums Pietus, Enlume 23R, S17 Pro, I personally favor this with the 650. It's the "dry-ist" of the bunch, but its got other good quality going for it. Bass was quite a bit better than I expected. I am not 100% on if it's the rest of my system or just the amp itself, but i would say its slightly sparkle-ly, as oppose to there are some amps you just cant get the sparkle through them (kinda rolled-off or have enriched harmonics).
