You are free to invalidate the tests i did with thinking i did it with random clicks... beside this, i could just do as many DBT till i got a 10/10... the only advantage you got with seeing the score is that you know when you have to reload the page lol so i guess even with a proper DBT result...

Both, i just did the audiocheck.net blind test again but i cant get 10/10 first try was in a post before with 15/21 i think

thanks, yes i would also say i like the more subtle effect with no magnet more, tho kinda crazy "how much" magnets seem to effect things i will definitely order some magnetite, i just have to find a good source, did you guys order the Fe3O4 powder stuff?

Can you describe what magnetite does and what the magnets do? i really just did a quick test, the effect with magnet is definitely more audible, the question is whether its better..... under smoky quartz a magnet REALLY becomes annoying... under black tourmaline it honestly feels like it...

Could you guys test something for me and report back what you find? I was curious about the magnetite you guys use.... i grabbed some fridge magnets and put them (under) the piezoelectric crystals i have on top of my speakers, it really seems to amplify the effect, like i think costa reported...

first time reading someone else tried prehnite, how do you like it? did you do some test with it "isolated" ?

well lets go by a 2 way design my speakers cross over at around 1,8khz i think if we look at the phaseshift of the low crossover section it probably begins to shift at 1khz or so, phase under 1khz will probably stay relatively flat in correct phase usually the tweeter is wired out of phase...

the point is absolute phase is audible, no matter how messed up the actual phase is of a particular song just make sure you listen to it like the artist intended ;)

540 - 360 : 180 imo 160 is the better one ;) Well sorry, actually if you talk about 2 mic setups you may flip one mic's polarity, so the recorded phase lines up with eachother because of different distances from mic to sound source, and i guess you could in theory line them up "perfectly"...

well if we talk about "preference" than there is no point to argue about correct phase/polarity imo personally i take inversed phase songs as what they are, what the producer heared/intended (and i hope they heared it with a correct polarity playback system), i dont bother switching phase for...

this only matters for the ground-inductor ... you dont have to plug anything in, you can use it as passive parallel filter too, it should have 3 caps inside + ground inductor i meant the filter in the link

also it has to be said that most dedicated linux streamer dont use either pipewire or pulseaudio, they run only with alsa, which is as bare bones you can go since i use a normal PC, i kinda have to use pipewire or else its really inconvienent

ALSA does play bitperfect (when you max out the volume), but not if you use pulseaudio on top, beside this i really have to recommend pipewire here, much better than pulseaudio since i use pipewire: pipewire runs like windows on one samplerate (default behaivor), the samplerate can bet set to...

not sure what other conclusion i should draw here if i can hear it and others cant of course there might be other reasons for this regarding equipment or being heavly objectively biased, i mean, your are not supposed to hear a difference, right? it just makes you "belief" like any other system...
