Trying the Pilgrim with my UTWS5. They paired up pretty well imho. Got this mmcx to pentaconn adapter from Amazon.

I'm getting better results with the Dunu SS tips for fit and sound replay. Turns out the OG Pilgrim sounds best with the Effect Audio Eros S AE 8W... almost like it was tuned to sound best with this cable go figure.

A friend tried the OG Pilgrim today with DUNU SS tips, he also liked it. I personally prefer more with Divinus Velvet tips though.

The Pilgrim with Divinus Velvets was just a touch raw in the upper mids lower treble for my taste. I finally settled on the Coreir brass tips which have suited my tastes more.

Did you try it with a Tanchjim Oxygen filter? That should just the edge off for you?

This is the way. Colour and sound match. From the perspective of the sound direction each IEM goes, in both cases Eros S benefits them, improving the sound without changing it.

For my personal preference (smoother sound), Pilgrim OG went really really well with Cadmus FE, that extra gold plated copper makes quite a difference in smoothing out the edges. But I know that is an almost impossible cable to get these days, also costs 2.5x the price of Pilgrim itself. So I will leave this suggestion out of the table.
