It's also case sensitive, Walkman's player will see songs if the folder's name is "music", but the PC app won't (if you plan to use it).

Edit: just noticed that you mentioned .m4a,
Thanks a lot. The problem was in capital M.
m4a works fine. Doing the library update now.
Any restrictions to the number of files?

Does anybody use Deezer app?
Don't see the option of logging to the paid acc. And it allows me to create a free acc with the email associated with the paid account.
What's the solution? Using a web browser?

Did you disable the Chrome Browser? If you did that could be what is preventing the log in

No, I did not. Moreover, I logged in with Chrome and then I got into the deezer app automatically.

How can it be that while streaming music from Deezer the subj is cold and playing music from the SD card it gets heated considerably?
With my Hiby R6III it's vice versa/the other way about.

No restriction that I’m aware of. I have around 11,000 tracks. However if you use the Walkman player app, I believe it will only count up to 9999. If you just want to play through all your tracks it would display something like this as it counts 108/- , 109/-, 110/- etc.

Something might be happening in the background - I do not experience any excessive warming when playing from SD card, only during intensive streaming, downloading, installing apps etc. Having said that, I experienced a mysterious battery drain once, but it went away on its own.
