Why remove the rear damping from the drivers?
Does that make it bassier, or did the replacement drivers just need some tuning to get closer to the stock sound?

Removing those pieces of paper makes the biofilm much more dynamic. The bass is not deep, but is the real bass of the instruments. Appear at the right time and disappear at the right time. does not have dense buzzing and makes the listener nauseous.

Did you replace the 50mm with 40mm??

Also how did you remove the original driver from the baffle? IIRC they are glued in
