This Burson Voyager is not only a world-class headphone amplifier. It’s also very wonderfully transparent, utilized a pre-amplifier. I’ve also used it direct to drive my power amplifier for my speaker system with surprisingly great sonics. This is the DELUXE package including the Super Charger 5A + V7 Pro Vivid OpAmps and SP-02 modules that came installed.

I purchased the Voyager directly from Burson and it arrived just before Christmas

I really like Voyager. (See my postings) The only reason I am selling the Voyager headphone amplifier is that it’s going be replaced by Grimm Mu2 that will take over the roles of a headphone amplifier, pre-amplifier, streamer, and DAC, all in one chassis, hence the Voyager is for sale. To make an audible upgrade over the Voyager, at least for myself will require a 6 times investment beyond the Voyager.


The Voyager has been in humidity controlled, pet, smoke, and child free man cave. The amplifier is performing perfectly and is in factory condition, exactly as it arrived to me. I have provided the white glove treatment to this amplifier, and have never ever set anything on top of it. I rated the condition as good, but I can’t find a flaw other than what appears to be piece of dust is actually a tiny factory blemish the size of a pinhead that most people will never even see.
