    Alpha Omega IEMs Thread

You won't believe how much power the Ra can take and it sound quite open and spacious. A good DAP and Aroma A100TB is a killer combo for Ra. With Earmen Angel, the power helps, but the DAC on Angel is not enough.

Oh, you will be treated with the best quality bass. Welcome aboard 🤩 If my memory serves right, the bass on Dark Sky is more of midbass and a nice subbass. The bass is quite solid and gets boomy, sometimes which is overwhelming. I loved that set when I had tried it for few days sometimes back...

Torch bearers of the all-BA IEMs camp. 1. Night oblivion Butastur (10 BA) 2. 7th Acoustic Supernova (6 BA) 3. SoundRhyme SR8 (14 BA) 4. FlipEars Aether (4 BA) All these IEMs are amazing in their own way. Good technicalities, nice enjoyable bass, good details and musical mids is what their...

    The PENON official thread

Here is my review for Penon ASOS, a cable I find really good, especially the price-to-performance ratio on it. It has some good synergy with few IEMs I tried. https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/penon-asos.26795/reviews#review-33998 Pros: * Built like a tank, premium finish * Brings out nice...

Review by 'nihalsharma' on item 'Penon ASOS'

Hello everyone, and thank you for joining. Today, I am reviewing the Penon ASOS, an IEM upgrade cable with 3-in-1 modular plugs. The good people at Penon Audio sent me the cable for review. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to them for providing me with the sample. The impressions in...

If you love the Orivetti OH700VB, you will like the Ra too. When I compared the Ra with the OH700VB, I found them equally good. Some aspects of Ra are better, and some of OH700VB. I may be lean towards Ra, if asked about my personal preference. Also, Ra needs a good amount of power, while...

Yes, the cable is a 4.4mm-terminated one. This is what it looks like.

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN NEO 3!

Yes, I will change the cable after few days. It’s limiting the IEMs capability. It’s good to spend a decent time with the stock set up and then move on to change cable. The changes and refinement the better cables bring is very very satisfying.

One word for this cable is - Wow. I paired this cable with 64Audio Fourte and the synergy is very good. The best part is - treble is still very controlled and the clarity in sound is amazing. Love this cable. I believe it’s gonna be a love affair for warm iems. Need to spend some more time.

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN NEO 3!

I received the ISN Neo3 a couple of weeks ago, thanks to Penon Audio. This is my first time with an ISN IEM. I am putting down a brief impression of the Neo3. It has a hybrid configuration with 2 dynamic drivers and 1 planar driver. The two DD drivers handle the low and mid frequencies, and the...

Low end. Cheap. Generic. Otherwise bang for buck cable thread!

Haha, yes, right. For a cable, it's not low-end (price-wise). Nevertheless, I found it had decent synergy with some IEMs I paired.

Here is my review of Letshuoer LR Nebula Cable. https://headfonics.com/letshuoer-lr-nebula-review/ The LETSHUOER LR-Nebula stands out as a decent copper cable tailored to enrich the bass and mid-range frequencies. With some IEMs that I paired the cable with, I found the synergy to be quite...

Here is my review of FlipEars Aether. This is a 4BA IEM and is surprisingly tuned very well. This certainly should get a mention when we talk about Night Oblivion Butastur, 7th Acoustic Supernova, and other well-tuned BA IEMs. https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/flipears-aether.26799/review/33879/...

Hello everyone, and thank you for joining. Today, I am reviewing the FlipEars Aether. FlipEars is a brand from the Philippines. They have a good presence in the East Asian market and are relatively new to the Western part of the world. However, they have been slowly getting recognition with...
