Focal Utopia General Discussion
I did not listen to the OG Utopia, so i can not compare. I bought the Cayin Ha6a and i am testing it with the Utopia 22. There is more than enough bass for my taste with the 6.3 plug. With the xlr plug there is way too much bass. I am keen to read your comparison soon.- DillingerEP

Listening to modern hip hop on my HD600s, and im fine with the lack of sub-bass apparently?
Hip Hop can be very different. So i think for some tracks, a nice planar with very low reaching sub bass is nice. Some tracks have punchy beats, so another headphone wirh punch is fine. I think many tracks can sound fatigueing quick, so i like a more forgiving headphone and hifi system for that...- DillingerEP

Focal Clear headphones
I think the HD650 sounds darker and softer than the Clear OG. The Clear has a stronger bass than the HD650. Both have more emphasis on the mids and lower frequencies. The HD650 has a smooth and warm mid emphasis. I find the MG version even bassier than the OG Clear.- DillingerEP

Buy the Sennheiser HD800S now or save up for the HE1000SE? (Mostly Gaming)
Yeah i think both headphones are good for gaming. Id choose the HD800 for gaming most of the time. The T1 for music. I would get a used HD800.- DillingerEP

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
The HE1000 Stealth is a very nice headphone. The detail, the punchy and high quality bass, the speed. They sound a little more in your face than the SE imo. Great for many metal genres. Treble CAN get fatigueing with harsh recordings. But overall a real great headphone for the money.- DillingerEP

What would be natural upgrade from HD800?
The Hifiman HE1000 series are great headphones wirh a wide soundstage, very good bass (quality and quantity) and very high detail. I would say the HE1000V2 does come clos to the HD800 kind of sound sig.- DillingerEP

Hello Beyerdynamic, are you there??
I would really be interested in a new flagship headphone from Beyerdynamic. A new version of the T1 would be great.- DillingerEP

What box and packaging did you get? The v2 comes in a leather box with three cables and a booklet with a sheet which has the serial numbers of the drivers.- DillingerEP
