Completely agree on the build quality - solid. The reason I asked is that I'm in Vancouver and im struggling to find a screen protector without having to import it! So thought I could chance it without if the screen was some sort of scratch resistant material. Looks like I'll bite the bullet...

Yes me too. I think if it was either Sapphire Crystal or Gorilla Glass A&K would market it as such, I suspect its plain glass, for the price I would expect Gorilla Glass at a bare minimum.

AA Composer might be worth a look, and it doesn't break the bank compared to the Utopia. Steering towards closed back option TBH, as I currently don't have one in my arsenal, I've considered ZMF AC and DCA Stealth, but don't think they will be suitable when I want to use with SP3000 alone and...

I'm much more a headphones fan vs IEM ... What are the best pairing headphones that you use with your A&K? I have Audeze LCD-5 and Sennheiser HD800s, so not the best pairings with the SP3000 due to power restrictions. So it would be really good to here this groups suggestions and thoughts...

Yes I could, but its another box when I am ultimately trying to get to a one box solution. I'm surprised Naim did not make the unit 115-230V. I have a Linn DSM Selekt and I can easily use it across both 115V and 230V by just changing the power chord.

Thanks for the replies folks. Today I realized that the Atom HE is fixed voltage. I live between the USA and UK so a unit that does allow for 115-230V wont work for me. This kind of pushes me towards the Element X2 which offers this feature. I could use a transformer, but that kind of defeats...

Hello folks. I am considering purchasing an A&K SP3000 and I have a question that I hope somebody here can help me with. I have a Enleum AMP-23r, can anybody answer if it's possible to connect the SP3000 to the AMP-23r via 3.5mm to RCA and use it as a Dac and streamer?
