Cayin RU7: 1-Bit Resistor Network Dongle DAC /Amp
Can you talk a little more about that? I’ve been using various DS DACs to date for desktop use, and until recently had convinced myself I couldn’t tell any of them apart. Then I tried a Cayin RU6 and found that I personally prefer it immensely to my THX Onyx and Apple DAC dongles for some IEMs...- michael2v

Schiit Ragnarok Amplifier
My ears hear it (and my brain interprets it) as the Ragnarok having a better “grip” on my speakers than other class-D amps I’ve used somehow (which is not the same thing as the system being overly damped, which tends to diminish musicality). P.S. That is a good-looking vinyl collection!- michael2v

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I'm afraid I can't comment on the direct comparison, since I have the bass ported vegan pads but my leather pads (I have the V2 fenestrated, not the V3 pads) are not ported. That said, without the bass port I'm not sure the vegan pads would change overall bass quantity that much, but they...- michael2v

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I never personally found Diana’s to be “harsh” (I have the V2, not MR), but I would say the vegan pads just sort of smooth everything out ever-so-slightly. The bass loses a tiny bit of incisiveness and the treble is slightly less resolving, but I don’t mind the comfort trade off, to the point...- michael2v

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
Step up only in terms of comfort; if I didn’t wear glasses I would have stuck with the original fenestrated V2 pads.- michael2v

Are these customizable? I love the blue in this unit compared to the black shown on the ZMF website and would love one with this color scheme!- michael2v
