not really relavent to your post but i notice you have 2 amps that i am considering to replace my Phonitor SE. the Jot2 and Violectric V222. big difference in price i know, but is the V222 that much better? any thoughts would be appreciated, including everyone of course- oldson

still considering this amp, but it wont be used with the Qutest as i have sold it now. i tested myself , by buying a cheap used Topping dac (E30) to compare with my Qutest, as i had suspiscions!! i literally could not tell them apart, so could not justify keeping the Qutest. had wondered about...- oldson

its a total pain in the backside. i believe a way around it is to use a balanced cable with an adapter to single ended, and leave the adapter plugged into the amp. still a pain though- oldson
