Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
I would choose them over any other pads if I didn't use EQ. They boost the mid range by a meaningful amount so as to balance the mid bass boost.- samob

Chord Anni
I listened to the Diana V2 with the Mojo 2 yesterday, it sounded excellent! I AB'd with a few Dac/Amp stacks, in some instances I preferred the Mojo 2 to the 1000 - 3000 euro setups. The main difference I noticed with the more powerful systems was an elevated bass region. I added a 1.5 db bass...- samob

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
Has anyone used the Chord Mojo 2 as a portable option with the Diana V2 (or MR)? I appreciate it's lacking power but I'm curious to know how does it do as an around the house option.- samob

Dan Clark Audio E3 Review: Interview, Measurements, Impressions
Does anyone have experience with both the E3 and Aeon 2 Noire EQ'd to their preference target? I can pick up the latter at a bargain price so I'm curious to know how they compare after EQ.- samob

None of that changes the fact that these comments are a bad look for Abyss. A simple "We respect Lachlan's opinion however our customers love our house sound so we'll keep doing what we're doing" is all you need to say. A PR consultant will charge a hefty fee for that advice, I'll let you have...- samob

Abyss suggested buying a $25k amp to solve the MR's tonality shortcomings :joy:, incredible stuff. It's great that you can afford it, well done! For those who can't, a bit of EQ will work wonders!- samob

The stock pads are leather. My ported pads are suede, which is significantly more comfortable.- samob

If you're interested in EQ'ing your Diana V2 this might be useful. I recreated Judes measurements on Squiglink using the existing measurements by unheardlab. Judes measurements are the most accurate I've seen so this is a good place to start. I didn't change the bass region as it seems Jude...- samob
