Full Score one is a very good headphone amp! This is an ‘inaudible amplifier’ - which means very, very close to the ideal of ‘a pice wire with gain’. I've been listening with this for a while now, even with different headphones.

For me DT1990 (mostly with analytic pads) at most music I have no problem with treble, sometime I use 31 band EQ (from Apples macOS sound) -2dB at 8kHz - or the hardware filter modelled with paramatric EQ from solderdude...

Only comparing NDH30 with HD490 Pro are useful, both are open. In my opinion, they are like stepsisters. Unfortunately, there are hardly any opportunities to hear and compare them in a shop. You have to rely on the internet to at least get a rough overview.

You post the same solution, I see this to late :slight_smile: Grados that I tried briefly were too warm for me after a short time, the open-pored foam was slightly scratchy. Reminded me of the ancient yellow Sennheiser HD 414 headphone.
