I couldn't agree more. They even add a bit of fullness (think bass) and soften up a bit of that Grado treble that can get a little bright. I have a V220 (stripped down V281) and it is Wonderful with Grado's.

I am really enjoying these today. I am using them on a Lehmann Audio Linear amp. Very clean and very neutral. My only amp that is not set up to be a fun amp. Very smooth combo. I will stick with this for a few days. :thumbsup:

Quick change this week. I want to try the FiiO FT5's with the Lehmann Linear. I find the bottom end of the FT5's a little thick and was wondering if this amp would clean them up a bit.

These V2's are Awesome! I have previously called them unforgiving and that is very true. Not great with noisy music or a tube amp. They were not built for distortion. But when you have clear, well recorded music, they are a Treat. The last three days has consisted of: My Florence + The Machine...

Really enjoying this amp. Nothing seems to be forward or recessed. Really great pairing with my Arya's (V2). Both at their best on well recorded music. Florence + The Machine playlist is over five hours and I enjoyed every minute. Then I tried several hours of jazz: Nubya Garcia, Miles Davis...

My last purchase was the FiiO FT5's in January. Still not sure if they are a keeper. I will probably pull them out again next week. LOVING my V2 Arya's this week (a trade vs a purchase)!

I ordered a pair of these today. I got a bit of a deal and I had some PayPal cash to spend. I have been curious for a while. As I wait for my new Grell headphones I will take a shot with these angled drivers. Now just the waiting. Probably a week as they are going coast to coast across Canada...

I actually got rid of the Hemp's. My GH2's are one of my all time favourites.

I don't find the Hart Audio cables better, just more convenient. I leave the connectors plugged in and I can easily jump from amp to amp, balanced or unbalanced.

My first Grado was an SR325e headphone. It hooked me on the Grado sound, but was just Too bright for me. Are the SR325X's very different from those? I see a demo on sale for a great price and I was wondering...

That was a good price. I would like to find a pair of them for an amp that I have, but good matched pairs are not cheap.

They just have regular 3.5mm inputs. I use Hart modular cables. And my 3.5mm cable gets a ton of work with these and my Focal headphones and my HiFiman headphones.

Pulled out my V2 Arya's today to try them on a pretty neutral amp. And they sound Great on my Lehmann Audio Linear amp. Clean and clear. :thumbsup:
