Question. Does anyone, while listening, use the "delete current file" feature? I'd like to, because I run into fake stereo recordings (from vinyl) sometimes that are nearly unlistenable. I'm guessing they go to the hidden "Trashes" folder, but does that space then become useable... rewriteable?

Finally filled up my 256GB card and am now slowly transferring it all over to a 512GB card. I tested before I got too far along. It's fine. But I know someone recently posted they were using a 1TB card. Good to know that's compatible.... when the time comes.

Yes, this is using the line out from X3 to an interface I have in my vehicle. EQ set at 0 sounded a little too distorted, but -6 sounds great. Nice and clean and perfect with the Custom EQ on and levels set at -6. And it seems to stay on until I turn it off, even if I power off the player...

I just put 3.4 on, and I'll have to find out how it's different from 3.34. But I still like the sound quality of 2.1 more. I'm just going to have to get used to the later firmwares. My 12,000-file library needs it. I just haven't found the right bass-treble setting to make it sound acceptable.

I like 2.1.  I've been using it the last few days with MP3s and AACs.  I go back to it every once in awhile just so I can have artwork that's proportioned correctly, but I know that later firmwares sound better. You should build up a collection of the firmwares and go back and forth amongst them.
