it seems the thread is kind of dead, but i try again with another question. i bought a pair of new "stock" pads from thomann, which seem to have an adhesive sticker on them. so if i would put them on, they would be glued to the phones, just as the originals that still are on the ether 2.
but then i read at dan clarks page about the pads coming with a "new peelable pad-mounting system", which makes them removable. Unfortunately i couldnt find pictures of the system. could someone pls post what it looks like and if i should return the thomann pads?

The pads are sticky, but can also removed. That's how my originals and replacement sets are.

I have recently added a new amplifier (Romi BX2 Plus)
and DAC (Questyle M15i) to my Ether 2 setup. I'll be needing a cable with 4.4 balanced connection. Can any of you suggest what would be a good cable to use? It would be nice to not pay $300 or $350 for the DCA cable. Of course I don't want junk either. Any suggestions? Thanks
