Yea i do the same with Roon, but as you said it’s a feature that should be implemented more often. Digital is getting better but such changes always sound better at the analog stage. That's why I wish more headphone amps offer volume balance control for folks with slight imbalance hearing like myself. But for now, I adjust the balance with my source music app.

yeah dead center thank God i'd probably lose my mind. Amps should have the ability to adjust that for folks with uneven hearing.Yea 18k is where i tap out at, strangely i've been hearing a tad bit better in one ear than the other...that cant be good lol sometimes it bugs me sometimes it doesnt. I may have to see and ENT specialist about possible wax deep in the canal, if thats not the problem i may have to look into an amp with some balance control at some point. Hows your balance slack? dead center at all times?

Your review and a bit of research leaves me wondering: Starry Night <- MJ3 as Pre / Vidar as PowerWrote an update to my impressions of Starry Night powered by MJ3 on the SJY Audio thread. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sjy...lanar-magnetic-headphone.965413/post-18127498

Lol, that would certainly outperform my Gjallarhorn mono blocks. Yeah, Starry Night is similar to a speaker load, so I can't see how that wouldn't sound good. You won't have much play with the volume pot though.Your review and a bit of research leaves me wondering: Starry Night <- MJ3 as Pre / Vidar as Power
