I watched that before posting here. I am just wondering why the right side isn't snapping in the way it looks on the video. I did not want to remove the pad if I could not put it back on. Thank you for your help.
keep pressing with your thumbs, whilst moving the pad very slightly along it's length. The litlle catches will eventually grab the slot correctly.

This can take time. Give it 10 minutes & good luck.

ps press hard! you won't break it.

pps it is quite ok to remove the whole pad & start afresh. Sometimes this seems (to me) to help.

i have been given the crossed a go and really its just preferences, but gravitated from liking max cross to min. then decided naw, i want to get my freak on. no feed

I find myself only needing crossfeed with very specific recordings, such as early Van Halen, where the guitar is panned hard left and nearly nothing but reverb hard right. I find it not so great on headphones, but fine with speakers in the room.
