He does custom headphones. I'm sure if you ask he'll do whatever you want. I have the 45ohm v1s and they have nice bass. I went this route because I wanted a balanced sound. I've thought about getting the 16ohm version to but never followed through.

I might have to send him a message. Thanks for the heads up.

I have no wood working skills or I would.

Do you have access to a local "Maker" community, with woodworking CNC tools and people who can either show you how to use them, or do the work for you at a nominal cost?

Wouldn't it be wild if the Zebrawood cups from the M1060C would fit the Tres? If you can, can you measure the distance between the mounting holes on your closed back Tres cups? I'll compare those measurements to my M1060C cups.
That would be way cool. I'll measure tonight and get back to you.

I live in the boonies. We don't even have a place to buy clothes. I have to drive 45 minutes to get clothes or shoes. I usually order online.

The opening is a 4 in diameter. Will that do?

PXL_20240507_003830026.MP.jpg

4 inches wide is similar to the M1060C cup, but what I would need to see if the M1060C cup would work is the distance between the center of the screws. You could flip over your closed back cups for your Tres and measure from the center of the screw hole to the center of the next screw hole. Then I could compare that to the M1060C's screw hole distance.
