Lucky sod today ... I ran into the following tune on a cosmic jazz sampler (my favorite sub-genre) and thanks to the interweb found the album on bandcamp ...

The band has done several "live in studio" albums in the past, but this one
is their first live album in a concert venue. I own this music: FLAC via CD rip,
the dynamic range is eight.

I just listened to that last night. I don't know about the other Snarky Puppy CDs, but I REALLY love the mastering on this CD. The sound quality is outstanding. In addition to some great music there, it's the mastering that really keeps me going back to it.

I have the same feeling about Mohini Dey's album - the sound quality is outstanding. You literally feel like you're there.

Their "Live at the Royal Albert Hall" won the Grammy for best jazz instrumental album in 2021, as did "Empire Central" in 2023.
Almost forgot - the CD in your Amazon cart - "Sylva" - won that award in 2015. And their studio album "Culcha Vulcha" won in 2016.
They be on a roll.
