You can try 0011 settings.
It's quite normal tuning, and what is normal is usually not impressive too, but some people will enjoy it as it is.

Here's 0011 compared to Tanchjim Oxygen tuning for example

Hmmm..I'll give it a go.

Received the Himalaya earlier today.
They are still burning in, but definitely have positive impressions listening to them OOTB.
(After getting a better fit by switching to Simgot Brass nozzles, of course)...

Also, I was watching some YT videos about this IEM and found this image, which I thought was pretty funny:

My incoming IEM's are all in bottleneck Compton, CA! Never had three orders from three separate stores, ordered at different times, pretty much get bottlenecked at the same sorting center at the same time. Now let's see which gets here first?! KZ ZS10 pro 2, Merga, or CCA Hydro?
This happens to me when I order from AliExpress sometimes, except they get bottlenecked in a distribution centre in Northern Europe before getting sent to North America. They'll sometimes sit at that centre for weeks. It's irritating. If they don't get stuck there they make it in like 1-2 weeks but if it ends up in that distribution centre it's gonna be at least a month.

Single DD from QDC? This is going on the watch list.
The original Superior was really nice, QDC tuning. Not the most technical driver, but decent. Had a slightly softer sound instead of something very clear and resolving.

Ergonomics of the shell was excellent, similar to VX and V14 but much smaller.

Had it on loan for some time, was about to order it but never got around to it.

The original had borderline to much Pina gain, didn't sound bad to me since the DD sounded how it did(if this make sense, example Simgot EA500 was shout fest in comparison)

The new version have a retuned upper mids, to me look better.

The new version have gone from resin shell to Aluminum, will feel more premium.

Don't need one, but tempted to order one 🤔

So question for you beautiful iem lovers, and @o0genesis0o <3, do you know of any items that are similar to the JM1 target. I'm doing um... research here is a few I got and where.

I know the Dunu Davinci which is hyped is done to the jm1 target.

If you don't believe that it is hyped check out this poll from my little channel.

I also know the waner is really close to it.

And this new project from Crinacle.

Anyhow, just thinking about this new meta target. Anyone know of anything close?

Kinda reminds me of the Audiosense DT600 with better treble extension and channel matching

That's totally my experience with the Compton Center. They will sit there for DAYS without any movement.

@requal, you are awesome! DDUU is the magic tuning switches!! Now it's more beautifully balanced, and the details are poppin' instead of being buried by the bass. Now there's still bass, it's just not as intrusive. More my preferred speed, so thanks for the suggestion. Now I'm truly enjoying these CCA Polaris.

p.s. Like the Star River, I gave the Hakugei Sea Elf a second chance. WHAT A LOAD OF ****!! @Leonarfd's review is precise and 100% correct. I actually think this one is the worst buy of 2023. I could actually listen to the Star River longer than the Sea Elf. It belongs buried in the deepest depths of Marianas Trench. What a bloated veiled stinker.

Sea Elf was really bad, actually what got me interested into write reviews. Both of us where the early adopters of that iem 😅

Oriveti OD200 vs CCA Polaris

Both are single DD. Both have pretty present bass. Both have excellent timbre and treble extension.
Mids are slightly more forward in the OD200. Transparency and spacial cues are more spaced out between instruments with the OD200.
Detail retrieval are very close. Very similar. Both very technically proficient, but both lag behind the Trio, Shangs, or Aures. About equal with the Simgots.
One of the reasons I kept the OD200 over the EA1000 was because the OD200 has excellent soundstage and imaging. Not just wide, but it does have depth. These win out against the Polaris also, but it's not a runaway. After 3 hours of intense burn in, the Polaris did open up a little bit more, but head to head, the $200 IEM is in fact better than the $20.00 Polaris, but is it better than the $25 CCA Trio? Hmm....perhaps? Or perhaps not?

Kinda irritated with Amazon. They misrepresented the Polaris as dual dynamics, but it's actually a single dynamic. Had I known, I would have not bothered, as I don't need anymore single DD's.
I thought you are the biggest KZ/CCA fan and that I could call out all model numbers and you tell me exactly how many drivers are inside? You disappoint me a bit ahaha :p
