Which cable is that? I have been looking for an upgrade cable as well but I want a full copper one. I was thinking Hakugei Healer.
DHC Symbiote Elite 19. Pure silver, 19 AWG.

I don't think it will be better than the stock Cardas. If you don't know what kind of cable this is, Cardas Clear retails for $500 or more. The PW 1960, based on it, sells for even more.

Yes I was aware of the stock cable quality but still I want to break the brightness with a copper cable sometimes.

edit: Lovely cable, amazing quality and sound but I hate it when a chin adjuster isn't included.

Folks who could use more bass from Project M, try switching out the cable.

I recently swopped in the NiceHCK AceOrpheus on a hunch and was surprised how deep and textured the sub bass could go.

It has to be said, AceOrpheus has its fans and I’m not usually one of them because its highs are generally too sleepy for my tastes. But it didn’t turn out to be much of an impediment for Project M, which is fairly well provided for in that department.

It’s also a chonky one and requires an adapter to use 0.78mm pins safely with the QDC-style connectors (although I suppose one could cheat and hope for the best - it’s just a little tight) but it’s well worth mentioning how well Project M responded to a spot of cable rolling.

The wait is over. Anyone who read my CanJam NYC impressions guide knew I was quite excited about Project-M, and now it's here and available at Bloom! Full written review and video review coming soon! :L3000:

Ordered a set of these notwithstanding my sensitivity to sharp treble. Reports on sound signature promise to round out my small collection and I think it may be optimal for jazz. Hoping warm-source pairing of my M6U, its high output, plus some “burn in” will compensate for any perceived treble issues. Also have tips collection spilling from open windows. Cheers

Hi Fiers!

Does anyone know a store in Vienna where it is available?

Thanks

My unit totally failed today - I can barely hear anything on both channels (right channel is worse). Changed cables and DAPs, same issue. Unit is 28 days old!

Going to my dealer tomorrow to have it warrantied. :triportsad:
Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Report like this gives me jitters.

I must concur with previous post that identified Final tips as best match with DPM. I tried a variety of alternative tips with wider apertures. They tended to increase the width of the sound field but at expense of definition.

I’ve been very pleased with this iem. Fit is easy. Cable is just right. I rather expected it to be bass-lite but it’s not whatsoever. Treble reaches high registers. And it’s an all-around smooth and detailed listen. Timbre is very natural or realistic.
Falling asleep this morning to a jazz trumpet piano duo album, trumpet suddenly came in after lengthy lulling piano portion and I shot up wide awake convinced the trumpet sound originated from the open bedroom windows.
