Yes, it is an ESS DAC feature that FiiO has exposed in the settings. Fun to play with, if nothing else.

My m17 started doing this back in October and I was hoping it would go away on its own, but it hasn't. Anyone else have this happen? It practically lives on its fan stand, which runs whenever I use it. Sometimes it goes away, but eventually comes back.

Screen is dying. get it to RMA asap.

How do you access the PEQ?

Open Lab Features and activate PEQ there.

I've seen quite a few people recommend the Neutron player here i this thred. Does Neutron player provide the best/good SQ for me who doesn't like/want to up-sample as well?

It is not systemwide and cannot EQ streaming applications.

Do you prefer DC mode with them? Looks like Turii Ti is easy to drive.

I use DC mode not for the enhanced over ear mode though, just for extending the battery life (preventing swelling stuff). So the battery cycle is less than it should be. Normally when using Turii Ti, only on med/high gain though .
