Depends on the amp…VC with my ECP DSHA3F is huge sounding headphone and only reason I have kept it but doesn’t perform that well with my Bliss.I needed that validation for passing on every VC I see
Rn6 is certainly a more 'fun' listening session than the VC. Different strokes for sure but I still love the VC.No but I like my Rn6 more than my VC
VC is more analytical. Rn6 produces more bass thanks to Kinetic. I won't get rid of my VC, or Rn6, eitherDepends on the amp…VC with my ECP DSHA3F is huge sounding headphone and only reason I have kept it but doesn’t perform that well with my Bliss.
Not even a knock on the sound. I love to own a VC/VO at one point and I almost pulled the trigger on a Camphor Burl one last year.Depends on the amp…VC with my ECP DSHA3F is huge sounding headphone and only reason I have kept it but doesn’t perform that well with my Bliss.
Caldera Closed coming out soon too. Still on the VC/VO? I am hoping to add a CC in Koa Wood one day.Not even a knock on the sound. I love to own a VC/VO at one point and I almost pulled the trigger on a Camphor Burl one last year.
But I'm not ready to commit what I'd need for a setup like this given ny sunk cost fallacy for porta-fi.
Rn6 it is
100% I use the Rn6 for top tier Hifi listening of all genres. I use the EVO's for EDM, but they're a phenomenal different flavor on other genres too.Rn6 is certainly a more 'fun' listening session than the VC. Different strokes for sure but I still love the VC.

Depending on genres, I would go with an Atrium open. That didn't exist when I lusted after my VC (and had 2 open backs at the time). But I don't regret my VC and would never sell it. I am lucky enough to have bothI needed that validation for passing on every VC I see
Agree 100% again red module all day. Also lucky to have both, custom ordered my VC in Koa Wood last year... My favorite wood! RN6 is way easier to drive and you won't regret that either =D RED MODULE ALL THE WAY!
Am liking my new E12. The detail on the percussion/drums/bass is astounding. The only thing i wish i could change is that FOR MY EARS, the treble is a bit brash and tizzy. It makes me keep lowering the volume. I am coming from the smooth SE846 which i could listen to for hours without fatigue. I may just get used it. Ive only used them 3 or 4 times for about an hour each. I wish i could merge their warmth and high freq rolloff into the E12 for the perfect IEM (For me).
Qobuz > Iphone 11 > Cayin RU7 > E12.
I bought them used. But i don't think the original owner had them long. I have about 5 hours tops on them. I am using the tips they came with - the large foams, which are very comfortable, and isolate well for me.How many hours do you have on your E12 and which eartips are you rolling?

The E10 Customs doesn't do well with metal. The spatial cues and instruments become subdued by the slightly dark atmosphere. Then again, it could be the source I'm using. It does well with my iFi amps/DACs.
So the e10 Customs might be a bit picky?
