I know there’s uapp.
I’m hoping there’s a better app out there that I can eq to the moon and back.
Of course it would have to be bitperfect.

To my understanding the android Mango eq app that came with my DAP doesn’t work through Tidal. Shame.

As bit perfect means no alteration of the number of channels, the samples and the sample rate, it is most of all a impossible question as you can't do EQ without altering the samples.
EQ is bit imperfect by design and when done right, sound quality improves compared with a bit perfect stream.

Yeah, I kind of misused that term and I apologize, though thank you for the explanation - I also had crossposted to reddit and your explanation is better than google's even.
Um, yeah I mean it looks like the app to use is Poweamp Equalizer for what I'm after. I'm just not sure yet.
