I'm currently using the UM2's and the Pico along with my Ipod classic. They sound great right out of the HF out, but when used via the line out and the Pico the sound stage increases, the seperation of the instruments is more noticeable, and the music itself seems to have better base and more extended highs. Can hear a difference with the amp, but like I said straight out of the Ipod is very enjoyable indeed.
