Can Cma Fifteen drive Susvara? Only in high gain?

i've asked this question in the susvara thread and someone replied that it was 'pretty good' but i assume not optimal. Koji of convincemeaudio praised its performance with the susvara for its price in his review with a couple of caveats:

Yeah I think can only use it with High Gain. I tested with low gain and the sound is too soft.

Anyone’s CMA Fifteen/Eighteen make a brief whirring/3-4 successive clicking noises when powering off? Don’t know how else to describe it. This noise comes and goes on my unit.

Nevermind, fixed it. The Eighteen wasn’t laying down flat. Now that it is, there’s no noise when powering down.

With the Eighteen I've noticed that it makes noise when the attached USB is active.
So, since I have it connected to my PC via a USB dock, I disconnect the dock and then power off the CMA.

Any CMA Eighteen Master owners here? I'm curious to hear what you guys think of the DAC stage specifically (the amp stage is excellent by all accounts), drawing some comparisons to recent well-known DAPs if possible.

I'm using the drivers of the Fifteen and windows 11 recognize correctly the 18 Master.

My windows 10 recognizes the cma 18 with plug and play. I will try the same method as You.

However, I feel that it is not good from Questyle to not explain correctly in the manual how to perform setup. They just literally copy paste from previous CMA 15 or so.

You should try it by yourself, don't forget that the synergy between dac/amp and headphone is very important.
