Anyone compared the FiiO PL50 to the Sbooster LPS?
Dear friend,FiiO PL50. The voltage changes - 12.0 - 12.1 volts. how to stabilize?

is the pin on the connector on pl50 only "DC output 5.5X2.1mm" or it can work on 2.5mm as well? Is the fiio k7 2.1 or 2.5mm?Dear friend,
Affected by voltage switching and different loads, the voltage display in PL50 may have a slight difference (about 0.1V) which is a normal phenomenon.
You could use the slotted insulated screwdriver to adjust the V.ADJ impedance on the back of the power supply to correct the display: clockwise to adjust the voltage higher, counterclockwise to adjust the voltage lower.
Best regards

also on pl50, the Aviation socket GX16(2 cores) i think it's pin 1 + and pin 2 gnd? Just trying to find shorter cable , thanks

So left pin + right pin - means on the gx16 cable connector or the actual connector pin on pl50Dear friend,
1. only DC output 5.5x2.1mm, and the K7 is 2.1mm.
2. left pin +, right pin -.
Dear friend,So left pin + right pin - means on the gx16 cable connector or the actual connector pin on pl50
Kinda confused
Does it mean I should get cable with pin2 + ,pin1 - ?

Dear friend,Hi,
A few questions to Fiio, please:
1. Can this be used as a power supply to a Chord 2Qute DAC (it requires 12V, 0.5A).
2. Also, what device-end adapters (sizes, type) are included in the package? (see red-circled connector in the attached photo from Fiio's PL50 page). My understanding is the the PL50 comes with a power cable ending in a 5.5 X 2.1mm connector, is that correct? Is the polariry negative (-) for barrel and positive (+) for centre?
3. The slotted V.ADJ on the back changes only the display or has an impact on the circuit's power supply behaviour as well?
Thanks

Thank you, I appreciate your prompt response.Dear friend,
1. Yes.
2. Yes. And the polariry negative (-) for barrel and positive (+) for centre.
3. Only the display.

Have a read of thisWell I am a bit surprised but pleasantly so. I got the PL50 and not only is the build quality through the roof good but there is a discernible difference in sound quality (for the better). I was truly skeptical but after a quick A/B test there is a difference. Can someone explain to me why a power supply makes my M17 sound better. I am at a loss.
Perfect, very helpful.Have a read of this

For the price and the quality you get it's a no brainer, I've got it hooked up to my 17 and it's great, although I have upgraded the mains lead as well.
