Ooo I think I'm gonna get me one of those Nitsch JAR600s when they come back around. I love some 600 series action with a tube amp.
They are such a unicorn! I think it's the one headphone that I have never seen for sale used, not once; that really tells you something!

How do you like the Bluetti?
I love it. I can't recommend battery systems enough. Granted it won't work for everyone, and if you happen to be fortunate enough to have good, clean electricity eminating from your wall, then your results might differ from mine, but the differences I'm getting are plainly obvious.
A wise audiophile sage once told me way back when that most system noise isn't noticeable until it's gone. I'm finding that to be especially true with my current gear and electricity.

Whether or not you choose Bluetti or another company's product is up to you. I researched all of the usual suspects and landed on Bluetti, but you may find another company suits your needs better. Regardless, I feel like either I have the world's worst electricity, or battery systems are this hobby's best kept secret.

As I live and breathe, a JAR-800 up for sale in the classifieds. So we know at least one pair got made (I know, it’s not the JAR-600)…

A vented IEM sounds like the in-ear equivalent of an open back headphone. Makes sense, but I have never tried any.
In general if an IEM has a dynamic driver it needs a vent, whereas all BA sets often do not. I stay away from the latter.

So excited about this thread! Thanks so much for starting it @goldwerger as I too have my feet planted in the headphone and IEM world. The sense of community and joy in sharing our love for the hobby and music we love is inspiring. Here’s a couple of photos highlighting the gear which elicits that “1+1 equals 3” feeling with every listen. Couldn’t help but throw in a Springsteen reference. :)

Did anyone listen to the Auris Headonia amp at Munich? I know it's maybe not aesthetically everyone's cup of tea for a tube amp but I know one person who heard it was very impressed (even with psvanes in it!).

Wondering why it's not gaining much traction / talked about vs the other 300b's..?

It didn't sound bad. Heard it on a Rockna Wavelight Server + DAC chain.

It's way bigger than expected and even uglier.
It did sound good tho, albeit not as good as a Feliks Envy or Riviera
