pretty much all is in the title. I've spent the last years using foobar to convert my music while including hard coded EQ, replay gain, crossfeed, etc. just so that I would have the sound I wanted even on the dumbest DAP in the universe.
foobar does that very well(IMO), I almost never have any issue, but it's a 32bit environment and the VST host is limited to VST2 and 32bit versions. I'm looking for the same but with the ability to also run 64bit VST and VST3, and because I've been relying on foobar for so many years, I'm a total noob when it comes to what exists today as player, converter, DAW, that could let me do that for free!
obviously if there is no free solution or if the free solution sucks bad and keeps crashing or resetting, I'll be willing to pay a little something for a proper software. but I need money for ninja lessons, so I'd rather have a free solution here.
thanks.
