I think the jocularity is all in good fun in this thread, of course.

Yep, its only human nature to take the piss on such things as this

I'd recommend a 0W20 in the winter and a 5W30 in the summer, I've always favoured valvoline oils but as long as the oil meets the manufacturers specifications I doubt you'll have issues, I'd change the oil after 500 hrs/6months of use though....can't be too careful.

oils tend to be flammable, i hope the cable comes with a combustion warning. if it did catch fire would that mean it has hot highs? :) yes people, it's a "warm" cable hahaha

For my two wires i use 3 in 1.

For 4 and above i break out the Stihl bar oil.

As long it has lubrication properties I can't argue with your choices, but those fools who use WD40?..........don't they realise it is not an oil?, it is a penetrative solvent that has it's uses but certainly not for iem cables.

What about your current generation plugs? What are they made out of? Brass with a coating? Or Pure copper with a coating?

Ultra virgin olive oil in winter and Spanish almond oil in summer?
Does the position of stars and constellations have an impact on the cable's impedance have an impact on sound too?
I wonder if they have an upgraded essential oils option for an additional $1k. I'll take peppermint please...
